Dec 15, 2003 - I now have a guestbook and blog set up. I also added a page listing my travels and removed a few outdated pages.
The friends page is relatively new. I added it a month or so ago, mostly to help a few friends get indexed by google.
Nov 30, 2003 - A fantastic thanksgiving weekend. Food + sleep + family + girlfriend - school - work = GOOD.

Christmas is coming up soon and so I've got a wishlist for all you nice people who are going to buy me presents.
Oct 26, 2003 - Again, it's been a long time since an update. Hair is still long. I'm going to spike it and be a pencil for halloween. I really have been meaning to update the website, but I'm busy. Sorry. The college and work pages have been updated and the friends page is new. If you're my friend and you have a website, let me know and I'll add it. This year I am the president of CSX at Calvin and I'm leading the System Administration SIG of CSX. I'm living in Eastown with 4 other great guys; we're looking for another roommate, so if you or someone you know is interested, let me know. I want to re-do this website with Multi-CMS, a project of mine. But that is dependent on my database class, which is dependent on JUmlErd. I also have on my list to finish KnightSleuth but that also depends on JUmlErd and I don't have free time to do it.

For, I'm going to use Forrest, for which I've recently been voted a committer. Yay! I got started doing forrest stuff at work at GFS.

I need to take pictures of our house. And put them up on the website, but I want to use a better gallery program. Maybe gallery2. I'm typing without looking right now and Chris thingks I'm o going to miss keys. LOoks like i did. ANywho, I've got quitie a few pictures to upload and not enough time to get it all done.

I saw Kill Bill last night on a triple date, it was awesome, but quite gory. I can't find my nalgene bottle. I need to finish reading The Return of the King before the movie comes out. Cooking for yourself is too much work. Life is fun. But hard. My roommate Kyle is funny. I have a laptop which is nice. I'm not sure what I'm going to take for Interim yet, hopefully an Intrusion Detection class, but I haven't taken the networking prerequisite yet. We'll see if I can slide by. I need to leave now to pick up my girlfriend so we can go to dinner at my Grandma's. Yum.
Mar 03, 2003 - It's been a long time since an update. Vote for my hairstyle you can make a difference!! I'm still busy with school stuff, this summer i'll revamp & update the whole site.
Dec 17, 2002 - I've finished my first of 4 exams and really looking forward to getting them over. School's been keeping me busy. CSX Game Development has been going pretty well. If you want to buy me anything for Christmas or my birthday (Feb 5), check out my wishlist. I'm going to Mexico from Jan 6 until Jan 31. It's going to be a blast. And rumour has it that there will be internet cafes there so I'll be able to keep you all up to date on just how much fun I'm having. I just bought a digital camera today because I figured I wanted one and I might as well get it before I go to Mexico. It's a Canon PowerShot A40 and I love it already. Until Mexico, Christmas break will be busy and relaxing. I'm going to celebrate Christmas with different sets of relatives, attend a wedding, go to a chalet with a few other families, do something crazy for new years, sleep, and fill any remaining time with programming. And yes, I know there are things broken on the site: guestbook, email subscriptions, web cam. Maybe I'll get them fixed during break.
Oct 9, 2002 - In my unending free time, I created a TV Guide for Calvin. Also, consolidated some photo categories and made a few fixes to my schedule.

I've been pretty busy here at Calvin since I'm a grader for a CS class, a lab monitor, involved in the CSX GameSIG and still working for CSI. I had a test yesterday and one today; went on a great dorm retreat last weekend and am going camping for my outdoor activities class this weekend. I'm probably going to go to the Yucatan for Interim (approx Jan 8-Jan 28) and participate in an ACM programming competition in about a month. So it's been very busy but fun.
Aug 21, 2002 - I have updated my college page with my schedule and contact info.
Aug 19, 2002 - I got back from Honduras quite a while ago. My journal and pictures from the trip are now online.

For those interested, my programming skills have been devoted to porting Qt 3 to Windows for compilation with MinGW. Here's my project page.

Calvin College begins classes on Sept 9.
May 25, 2002 - Lookie!!
Mar 23, 2002 - It's been a while since an update. School, work and friends have kept me busy. Exams are approaching quickly; I'll be home by the 15th of May. Also, I'm going to be returning to honduras for a month, beginning June 8. The guestbook disappeared quite a while ago, the newsletter sign-up isn't working, and I haven't been using my webcam. Tough luck. Hopefully the guestbook and newsletter will be fixed by early summer.
Jan 22, 2002 - Hey folks, I've given a new look to the site, obviously. And my birthday is Feb 5, so don't forget.
I've been spending time in a game development group, it's cool. Christmas time is coming up and I know you all want to buy me stuff, so check out my wishlist
I've been starting to work on a programming website. Not much there yet, but check it out at
I go off to Calvin College on Aug 29.

Screenshot of my 3d game My first release of the 3d game I'm working on is available. It is very rudimentary right now, but my goal is for it to be a 3d action/adventure game in medieval times. It will be 3d accelerated, support 3d sound and be available on any operating system.
Some programs I've written:
